Today in Dublin, at the Lantern Center, I joined the Sunday celebration held by the BranchingOut Metropolitan Community Church, a local community of queer Christians.
Chaplain Stan Dolan and the community prayed for the victims of homophobia and transphobia. We united with those who are in vigil this coming days of IDAHO celebrations.
Please follow on the website Gionata.org the worldwide spreading of this appeal to pray for those who are persecuted, imprisoned, tortured, executed.
We repeated loudly, today: we won't get down on our knees, never more, but and only to pray G-d, our Creator, the Father, the Liberator, the Counselor.
We, the queer people, are children of the Providence, endowed by the Creator with the same unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, as every other human person.
To those who don't still feel comfortable with our coming out, we promise: you will get over it.
