Here at the Jerusalem Open House for Pride and Tolerance, we would like to wish everyone a sweet new year, and to introduce you all to our new Executive Director and our new Chairperson of the Board. This Rosh HaShanah, at the Open House we will take this time to reflect and to engage this opportunity to reassess our programming and the many new developments to come this year.
Right in time for the holiday's spirit of renewal, the Open House is now ushering in a number of exciting changes, such as the arrival of Elinor Sidi, our new Executive Director to her new position, and Eitan Schechtman to his post as the new Chair of the Board. Click below to learn more!

What have we accomplished this year of 5771?
-The Open clinic served over 1000 clients
-The Youth program continues its successful track record
-A youth delegation participated in a leadership program in Germany
-Regular meeting were held for our women's group, english speakers group, and student's group
-Initiated a group for new parents
-Private kindergarden was provided for young families this summer
-Hosted holiday celebrations and Kabbalot Shabbot
-Worked to ensure the legal status of LGBTQ individuals and their partners
-Led a successful Pride March to the Knesset to demand equality
-Held protests in support of the ordination of gay and lesbian rabbis
-Social activities included regular hikes, picnics, lectures, movies
-Every day our community center is open to all who wish to have a cup of coffee and meet a friend or read one of the many books in our extensive library.
This year 5772, help us GROW!
This year we plan to be bigger, better, provide more services, and fight the rampant discrimination against our community.
With your help we will...
-Expand youth services available on Saturday evenings
-Expand HIV testing with a new doctor, increased testing, new populations, and cruise team
-Expand counseling sessions with with trained professionals and a NEW format
-Expand community center with NEW activities, NEW events, and NEW groups
-Continue our fight to be recognized as a community center, like any other
-Defend LGBTQ civil rights under constant threat
